Quick answer (updated October 26, 2026): Build one 10-item mix that steps down in strength: 2 × 5%, 3 × 3%, 2 × 2%, 2 × 1% and 1 × 0%. Use them in that order and move to the next strength when a device runs out. At VapeOwls the example below costs $142.73 with the automatic 15% mix discount, versus $167.92 at full price.
If you vape 5% today and want less nicotine per puff, you do not have to jump straight to zero. Here is a simple, strength-by-strength plan using devices we stock, priced from our live cart. This is a shopping guide, not medical advice.
The strength ladder
| Stage | Strength | Example device | Price | Rated puffs |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 5% (50 mg/mL) | Flum Pebble 6000 or your usual 5% | $15.99 | 6,000 |
| 2 | 3% (30 mg/mL) | IceBomb 18K | $17.99 | 18,000 |
| 3 | 2% (20 mg/mL) | Bubblemon Graffiti Tuzzy 35K | $15.99 | 35,000 |
| 4 | 1% (10 mg/mL) | Crosin 40K (tea flavors) | $18.50 | 40,000 |
| 5 | 0% | FLUM Float 0% Zero Nicotine | $12.99 | 3,000 |
Percent is the share of nicotine in the e-liquid: 5% is 50 mg per mL, 3% is 30 mg per mL, and so on. Moving one rung down the ladder cuts the nicotine in every mL you vape.
How to use the plan
Go in order and switch when the current device is empty, not on a fixed calendar. Rated puffs vary a lot (3,000 to 40,000), so some stages will last longer than others. If you want a shorter 3% stage, swap IceBomb 18K for SnowPlus Dash 4000 (3%, 4,000 rated puffs, $13.99). If a step feels too big, stay on that strength for another device before moving on.
What the 10-item order costs
| Item | Qty | Price each in a 10-item mix | Line total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flum Pebble 6000 (5%) | 2 | $13.59 | $27.18 |
| IceBomb 18K (3%) | 3 | $15.29 | $45.87 |
| Bubblemon Tuzzy 35K (2%) | 2 | $13.59 | $27.18 |
| Crosin 40K (1%) | 2 | $15.73 | $31.46 |
| FLUM Float Zero (0%) | 1 | $11.04 | $11.04 |
| Total | 10 | $142.73 |
We checked this total in our own cart on October 26, 2026. Ten items unlock the top Build Your Mix tier (15% off), and the order clears the $75 free standard shipping threshold. Prices and stock change, so your cart shows the final number.
Tips that make each step easier
Keep the flavor family. If you like ice flavors, IceBomb 18K is built around them. Crosin 40K is tea flavors only, so plan a fruit or ice option on either side of it if tea is not your thing.
Buy the whole ladder at once. Splitting it into separate small orders means paying shipping and losing the 15% tier.
Not ready for 0%? Swap the last item for a second 1% or 2% device. The discount stays the same as long as the order has 10 items.
